Prison Ministry.

This is a soul winning ministry of rehabilitation.
Jesus said in Matthew 25:31-46, when I was in prison you came and ministered to me. The people said, when did we minister to you in prison? Jesus said, when you did it to the least of these my brethren you did it to me.
The apostles and early Christians were thrown into prison for their faith and testimony. All through history Christians have been thrown into prison for their faith. In places like China and in the Middle East Christians are persecuted and thrown into prison just for being a Christian. Jesus said in Revelation 2:10, Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Here in the USA Christians are not thrown into prison for being a Christian. Although, there are Christians who will find themselves in trouble and end up in jail or in prison. When they realize the seriousness of the situation they are in they will dry out to God. This is referred to as "jail house religion". As soon as they are released from prison it's not long before many of these people are back in the same lifestyle that landed them in jail to begin with and back in trouble.
These are Christians who need support the most, so when they are released from jail or prison they continue in their renewed faith.
There are also people in prison who were unsaved when they went into prison but finding themselves in that lost situation will cry out to God. Many unsaved people will find Jesus in prison and come to know Him and trust Him as their savior.
All of these people need to be ministered to, so when they do come out of prison they continue in the faith that sustained them when they were in trouble. Jesus said when you minister to these people you are ministering to me.

Why do you want to be a part of this ministry?
Because you do not want to hear Jesus say,

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Jesus words, not mine.

You do not have to be a part of our ministry but just do the ministry and reap the blessings.
Just remember what Jesus said. When you did it unto the least of these my brethren, you did unto me.
