How To Win Souls To Christ.
God's Plan Of Salvation.

This Page Is Still Under Construction.

Mark 16:15, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Matthew 28:19-20, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

This article is for Christians who want to become soul winners for Christ.
Proverbs 11:30, The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
The information here is to provide you with answers to questions that a lost person might have.
Peter said in I Peter 3:15, But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
I want to encourage you with the knowledge of God's word, to strengthen your resolve to bring lost people to Christ and salvation.
Knowledge is power and with the knowledge of God's word you will have the power of the Holy Spirit that will give you the boldness to speak to someone about Christ and their salvation.
God said in Hosea 4:6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Paul said in Ephesians 4:18, that people are alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
That is why Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Jesus also said in verse 14, you are the light of the world. Be the light that brings souls to Christ.

Questions And Answers.
Do you believe there is a God? Yes or No?

If the answer is "No" then it is an uphill battle to convince an atheist there is indeed a God.
Although, it is not impossible.

If the answer is "Yes" that is where salvation through believing begins.

If you believe there is a God, is it not reasonable that He would be an eternal righteous God incapable of sin and corruption?

God's eternal existence is in His righteousness. Psalms 119:142, Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and thy law is the truth.

Is it not also reasonable that this supreme God would reveal himself and communicate to those he created and love?

Do You Believe The Bible Is God's Word? Yes or No?
If the answer is "No" then there is no path to salvation.
How can you lead someone to Christ by salvation if they do not believe the Bible is God's word?

We Have The Evidence That The Bible Is Indeed The True Word Of God.

Why Has God Given Us His Word To Communicate With Us?
The answer is quite simple. We are sinners and God in His righteousness who cannot look upon sin cannot have fellowship with us because we are sinners.
We are separated from God because of our sin. He has given us His word that we might believe His word in faith. He has put His promise of redemption and eternal life in writing and preserved His word throughout time, so that we may know His promise and His word is true. God wants us to believe His word is true and accept His word in faith. II Timothy 3:16-17, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Ephesians 2:8 says we are saved by grace through faith YET you cannot have faith unless you FIRST BELIEVE.
It is important that you believe His word of promise is true in faith.
It is one thing to believe but it is another to put your faith in what you believe. Faith is acting upon what you believe.

Satan and demons also believe in God and tremble but they do not put faith in God to secure eternal life. James 2:19

If I could show you that the Bible is indeed God's word, would you accept God's plan of salvation to save you from your sins and from eternal death?

Why Do I Believe The Bible And Put My Faith In God's Word?
Psalms 22 and Isaiah 53 was written hundreds of years before Christ and proves the divine word is from God.
How could the prophets have known about the crucifixion of Christ in every detail if not from God?
Crucifixion had not yet been invented until the Romans took power 500 years later.

Jesus fulfilled 356 prophecies of the Old Testament, which were confirmed in the New Testament.
The probability of one man fulfilling just 10 fulfilled prophecies is astronomical and cannot be calculated.
Jesus fulfilled 356 prophecies, which can only mean God was in control. 356 Prophecies Fulfilled By Jesus

The Bible timeline from Adam to Jesus according to the Bible is 4,000 years, 7 months and 10 days.
God told Moses in Leviticus 16:29-34 that in the 7th month and on the 10th day there was to be a sacrifice for the sins of the people, called the Day Of Atonement. According to the Bible timeline Jesus was born in the 7th month and on the 10th day, the Day of Atonement.
Jesus sole purpose for being born was to atone for the sins of the world when He died on the cross, was buried and rose again on the 3rd day.
Is it just a coincidence that Jesus was born in the 7th month and on the 10th day, the Day of Atonement, for the purpose of atoning for the worlds sin and in the very month and on the day, God told Moses to make a sacrifice for the sins of the people?
Is it just a coincidence that both the Day of Atonement and Passover in the Old Testament represents Jesus and Jesus was born on the holiest day of the year the Day of Atonement and He died, was buried and rose again on the second most holiest day at Passover?
The Bible was written over a period of 1,500 years by 40 different authors. The Timeline from the creation of Adam to the birth of Jesus is found in 7 books of the Old Testament and was written over a period of 1,000 years by 4 separate authors who did not live at the same time and could not have collaborated with one another to write the Timeline. Only God could have written the Timeline and proves God is in control of time.
Thousands of years before Jesus was born God told Moses when Jesus would be born and when he would die on the cross.
It's not possible that this could only be just a coincidence or by chance but only God could have made this happen.
It proves that God wrote the Bible and is in control of time.
The timeline of Jesus birth is collaborated in Luke Chapter 1 by when the priests performed their duties in the Temple. That is no coincidence.
The Bible timeline is proof that the Bible is indeed God's word. How else can you explain it? The Old Testament Timeline.

The Bible is the oldest book that dates back almost to the beginning of time and the only book that records the beginning of man's existence.

The Bible is the most loved and cherished book that was ever written but it is also the most hated and despised book ever written. The difference between good and evil, right and wrong.

God Reveals Himself In His Word.
The Bible is the only book ever written that reveals the existence of God in His supreme righteousness and his eternal love and relationship with mankind.

The prophets, apostles and early Christians were willing to be beaten and tortured again and again and even put to death for what they saw and eyewitness to be true.
Not what they were told was true or indoctrinated to be true but WHAT THEY SAW WITH THEIR OWN EYES TO BE TRUE.
Would anyone be beaten, tortured and put to death for something they knew was not true? They gave their lives for what they eye witnessed and knew to be true.
II Peter 1:16-21, For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

God Preserves His Holy Word And Not Man.
If God is truly an almighty God who created the universe and mankind. Is it not reasonable that God would have the power to preserve His word throughout time?
Psalms 12:6-7, The words of the LORD are pure words: As silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, Thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

The Bible is the ONLY book ever written from the beginning that offers salvation through redemption.
Romans 10:17, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Do You Believe God's Word Is True? Yes or No?
If the answer is still no after you have shown the evidence that the Bible is indeed the true word of God, then there is no path to salvation.
If you have persuaded the person you are bringing to Christ that God's word is true and is from God. Then you are leading that person on the path to salvation and to accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It is now just a matter of giving them the gospel of salvation by explaining what they must do to have eternal life in Jesus.
It all begins with believing by faith. Hebrews 11:1, Faith is the substance of things hoped for (eternal life), the evidence of things not seen.
God's word is the evidence.

Leading Someone To Christ. Always Start With John 3:16, God's Love.
Did you know that God made you a promise? The promise of eternal life because God loves you.

Since the beginning of time people have asked the question, why did God allow sin and death to come into His perfect world?
The answer is simple. So we would know the very essence of God's love, which is mercy and forgiveness.
God wanted us to know just how much He loves us. The love Jesus God's son would demonstrate on the cross.
God wanted us to choose Him and His son Jesus for His love, mercy and forgiveness.
God had to show the majesty of His righteousness and that righteousness comes only from God.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Do You Believe God Loves You? Yes or No?
God just told you He loves you in His word.
John 3:16 says for WHOSOEVER. That means everyone including you.

Do You Believe Jesus Is God's Only Son? Yes or No?
We just read in John 3:16 that Jesus is God's only begotten son.

Let Me Ask You A Question.
If I could show you from God's word how you can have God's promise of eternal life, to know it and to believe it 100% in your mind, heart and soul for sure.
Is that something you would want to know?

Do you believe you are a sinner? Yes or No?

Do you believe when you die God will judge your life here on earth for your sins? Yes or No?

Would you like to be free from sin and to know the joy of being reconciled to God? Yes or No?

These are questions to begin a conversation with someone who needs to know the gospel of Christ.
All the answers are found in God's word.

We Are All Sinners.
The Bible says in Romans 3:23, For ALL have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

What Is The Glory Of God?
God is a righteous God in whom there is no sin, nor can God look upon sin. God's eternal existence is in His righteousness.
Ezra 9:15, O LORD God of Israel, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this.
Psalms 97:6, The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
Habakkuk 1:13, Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

Because we are born of the seed of Adam we are born inheritant into sin.
Romans 5:12, Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 3:10-18, As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.

We are separated from God in His righteousness because of our sin and death is the result of our sin.
Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hell And Damnation, Which Is The Second Death.
Jesus talked about hell more than any other subject.
Matthew 18:8-9, Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
Revelation 20:11-15, And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Would you like to know your name is written down in God's book of life?

Salvation Begins With Believing In Faith.
We just read in John 3:16 that WHOSOEVER believes in Jesus has the promised of eternal life.
Although, it takes more than just believing in Jesus. You must also believe "ON" Jesus.

Let's Read John 3:16 Again Including Verses 17 And 18.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth ON him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Did You See The Word "ON" In Verse 18?
That means to put your faith in Jesus to be saved and to receive eternal life.
Ephesians 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
That word "ON" in verse 18 means to not only believe in Jesus but to put your faith in Jesus.
Not to believe only in your mind but to believe way down deep in your heart and soul that God loves you and that Jesus is your hope for salvation and eternal life.
Believe ON Jesus by putting your trust and faith in Jesus and accepting the gift of God, which is eternal life through God's son Jesus.

The Blood Atonement For Our Sin. LIFE IS IN THE BLOOD.
Jesus came to atone for the sins of the world and to reconcile us to God by shedding His precious blood on the cross.
When Adam and Eve sinned and brought sin and death into the world. God killed and shed the blood of an innocent animal to cover their nakedness and their guilt and shame. God requires the shedding of blood for the remission of sin.
When Cain killed his brother Abel, the first murder. Cain shed the innocent blood of his brother Abel. God asked Cain, where is your brother Abel? Cain replied, Am I my brother's keeper? God told Cain in Genesis 4:10, "the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground".
When God gave Moses the law, God told Moses to sacrifice an animal and shed its blood to atone for the sins of the people in Leviticus 16:29-31. This sacrifice covered the sins of the people for one year. Each year this sacrifice was made on the Day of Atonement that represented the sacrifice Jesus would make on the cross for the sins of the world.
Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
On the Day of Atonement, the priest would sacrifice a bullock for the sins of the priest and a goat for the sins of the people.
The High priest would take the blood that represented the blood of Jesus and place it on the Mercy Seat.
The Mercy Seat represented the mercy of God. The spirit of God came down and accepted the sacrifice for the sins of the people.
At Passover a lamb without blemish was sacrificed to remember when God freed the Hebrew children and brought them out of Egypt and bondage.
The bondage of Egypt represented the bondage of sin. On the very first Passover the Hebrew children killed a lamb and placed the blood on the door post of each house. When the angel of death came through, those who had the blood on the door post, the angel of death passed over.
Both the Day of Atonement and Passover represents Jesus. Jesus was born on the Day of Atonement to atone for the sins of the world and He was crucified on the cross at Passover as the lamb without blemish to free the world of sin and bondage. The blood on the door post represented the blood Jesus would shed on the cross.
Jesus said in Matthew 26:28, For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Romans 5:8-11, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Jesus covered our sin with His blood on the cross. God who cannot look upon sin now sees us through the blood of His only son Jesus.
Jesus demonstrated His love for us by laying down His life on the cross to reconcile us to God by His blood atonement. He was buried and then rose again on the 3rd day to give us hope for eternal life by conquering death.
Like the blood on the door post. WHOSOEVER accepts the blood of Jesus sacrifice on the door post of their heart, the angel of death will pass over.
We are justified by the blood of Jesus.

Why Did Jesus God's Son Have To Die?
To show that Jesus is God and holds the keys to hell and death.
Revelation 1:18, I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
God has the power over death and hell and God has the power to show mercy and forgiveness.
Jesus died on the cross to demonstrate God's love of mercy and forgiveness that we see in John 3:16.
He conquered death and rose again on the third day to give us hope of eternal life if we believe and accept his sacrifice for our sins in faith.
Jesus said I did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill the law.
Jesus took our sins upon Himself on the cross and paid the penalty of the law for our sins which is death.
II Corinthians 5:21, For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Romans 5:6-21, For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Just before Jesus went to the cross, He prayed to the Father in the garden of Gethsemane blood sweat and tears not to go to the cross.
Then He prayed, not my will Father but thy will be done. Jesus was obedient to the Father to go to the cross. Jesus God's son died for us.
Romans 5:19, For as by one man's disobedience (Adam) many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one (Jesus) shall many be made righteous.

The Resurrection Of Jesus Is Our Hope.
We have hope of escaping death to have eternal life with God because of the resurrection of Jesus.
I Peter 1:3, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
I Corinthians 15:13-14, But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

Romans 10:9, 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Jesus Was 100% God And 100% Human.
Jesus was the sacrificial lamb without blemish. Jesus was sinless and not of the seed of Adam. Jesus was not born inheritant into sin with a sin nature.
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born in the flesh by His virgin mother Mary who was human.
Matthew 1:18-23, Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

John 1:1-5, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Verse 14, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
God has allowed only a certain amount of time for sin and death to be in the world. It is the book of time sealed with 7 seals. Jesus is the lamb without sin worthy to open the book of time and finish the mystery of God which is the end of sin and death in the world by the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for our sins.
Revelation chapter 5 says, Worthy is the Lamb (Jesus) that was slain.

When you die, do you know where your eternal soul will spend eternity? Yes or No?
God in His eternal righteousness made a way to reconcile you to Himself through the death of His only begotten son Jesus upon the cross and has given you the hope of eternal life by His resurrection.

I Corinthians 5:18-21, And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

We are saved by the grace of God through faith and by believing and accepting Jesus finished work on the cross we take on the righteousness of Jesus.

Jesus Is The Only Way Of Salvation.
John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Acts 4:12, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The only thing that can keep you from being reconciled to God and to have eternal life is unbelief and the rejection of Jesus.
The penalty of unbelief is the second death, which is eternity in hell separated from God.

What Can I Do To Be Reconciled To God And To Have Eternal Life?
Believe on Jesus and accept Him by faith. The first act of faith is to confess that Jesus is the son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins and rose again on the third day. Confess and repent of your sins asking God to forgive you.
Romans 10:9-10, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 8:1, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:8-10, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The Holy Spirit Convicts Us Of Our Sins.
John 16:7-11, Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Of sin, because they believe not on me;
Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Do You Know The Heavenly Father Is Here With Us Now And Is Listening?
John 6:44, No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:65, And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

Is the Heavenly Father drawing you to his son Jesus right now through the conviction of the Holy Spirit?
II Peter 2:9, The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Would you like to accept Jesus into your heart and life right now to know you have the promise of eternal life?

Believing In Faith.
Do you believe you are a sinner and will one day die because of your sin?
Is the Holy Spirit convicting you right now of your sin?
Do you believe that Jesus is God's only begotten son?
Do you believe Jesus was crucified on the cross, died and shed His blood for your sins and that He rose again on the third day as the Bible says?

If the answer is "Yes" they have just taken the first step toward salvation.

The first act of faith is confession of sin and repentance to accept Christ forgiveness as Lord and Savior.
Your faith that Jesus will forgive you of your sins because he promised to.

Do you have faith that if you confess your sins and repent to ask Jesus to come into your heart and life to save you from your sins and death that He will as He promised in His word? Yes or No?

I John 1:8-9, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Prayer Of Repentance.
Would you like to pray with me here and now and ask God to forgive you of your sins through His son Jesus and accept Him into your life as your redeemer, Lord and savior?

If the answer is "Yes" then you have just won someone to Christ and the next step is to lead them in prayer to confess and repent of their sin and to profess their belief in Jesus and accept His love and forgiveness.

Pray this prayer of repentance and the Father will hear you by His son Jesus and through the Holy Spirit.

The Sinners Prayer.
Father in Heaven I confess that I am a sinner.
I know because of my sin I will one day die and will be eternally separated from you if I do not repent of my sins.
I believe in my heart that Jesus is your only begotten son.
I believe Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for my sins.
I believe Jesus rose again on the third day to give me hope of eternal life with you.
Lord Jesus come into my heart and life and save me.
I confess with my mouth that you are Lord and the son of God.
I repent of my sins and I am asking you to forgive me of my sins.
Be merciful to me a sinner.
Change my heart and life to serve you.
Fill me with your blessed Holy Spirit.
I give my whole life to you.
Thank you Lord Jesus for your love and word of promise to save me.
I love you my Lord Jesus because you loved me.
In Jesus name, AMEN.

If you prayed that prayer of faith to confessed and repented of your sins and believed in your heart to accepted Christ as your savior.
You have received salvation and the gift of life with the eternal right through Jesus to come before the throne of God by the Holy Spirit who now indwells inside you, to be heard as a son or as a daughter of God.
Through salvation and your acceptance of Christ as your Lord and savior you are no longer separated from God but in your faith and believing you have eternal life with Him. That is the promise of God in His word.
Romans 8:38-39, For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now that you have accepted Christ as your Lord and savior you are a brand new person.
II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The Holy Spirit now dwells inside you to guide you, to comfort you and to convict you. When you pray to the Heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit makes utterance for you and Jesus who now sits at the right hand of the Father makes intercession for you.
I Corinthians 6:19-20, What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Romans 8:26-28, Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I Timothy 2:5, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Romans 8:34, Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

To begin your new life in Christ Jesus.
Read Galatians 5:13-26, the book of Ephesians and I John.
Then the book of Matthew, the gospel of John, Luke, Mark, Acts, and Romans.

II Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The next step is to be baptized as a testimony of your faith in Christ.

Walk in the spirit fulfilling the fruits of the spirit in Galatians 5:13-26.
Pray to the Heavenly Father every day by Jesus the mediator and through the Holy Spirit who gives utterance for you.

Read your Bible.
Follow Jesus commandments of love.
Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Do the first works of love to bring others to Christ. II Corinthians 5:18, And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
Most of all do the Father's will and the Holy Spirit will comfort, convict and guide you.
Matthew 7:21, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

The angels rejoice for every soul that comes to Jesus.
Luke 15:10, Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

MEMORIZE IT. WIN SOULS TO CHRIST.

Your Testimony.
When winning someone to Christ give them your testimony.
That is what the apostle Paul did.
Winning someone to Christ is persuading them that they need Jesus.
King Agrippa told the apostle Paul, almost thou persuaded me to be a Christian.

Jesus can change your life.
If you will let him.

There is no greater joy as a Christian than to win someone to Christ.
Amen.

AFTER ACCEPTING CHRIST.
When a New Believer starts reading the Bible for the very first time after coming to Christ, where should they begin?
At the very Beginning? In the book of Genesis? Surprisingly YES, and then NO.

Yes the first 4 chapters of Genesis is where every New Believer should begin reading God's word.
It is important to know that God in the beginning created the world including man and woman.
That the woman Eve and man Adam disobeyed God causing the fall of man that brought sin and death into the world in which God though His infinite mercy made a way for man’s redemption.

Should a New Believer begin reading the Old Testament first? NO.
Because we are New Testament Christians. The church, the body of Christ.
The Old Testament is the foundation of the New Testament, however the Old Testament is a covenant that God made with man BEFORE Christ.
Because of Christ work on the cross and by His resurrection we have a NEW COVENANT and it is the New Covenant with which we live, AFTER Christ.
There is a difference between those who lived BEFORE Christ work on the cross and those who came after.
The difference between God's law and God's grace.

We live by God's grace through faith.
The first 4 chapters of Genesis is the very best place for every New Believer to start reading God's word.
After chapter 4 and starting with chapter 5 a New Believer may get side tracked and begin to drift with reading who begat who from Adam to Noah, which may cause a New Believer to slack off from reading God's word.
The story from Adam to Moses in the book of Genesis is a foundation to spiritual truth.
It's a fascinating story of how life began once you get past who begat whom in chapter 5.
However, for a New Believer it is more important that they be grounded in their faith as a New Testament believer before trying to understand the foundation of man's fall and God's law that brought us to the New Covenant of Grace.
The New Testament is easier to read than the Old Testament and it is important that a New Believer become grounded in reading God's word as soon as possible to withstand the lusts of the flesh and the carnal desires of the heart.
That’s what reading the New Testament does. It grounds the New Believer in their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal savior.
Then when the New Believer does begin to read the Old Testament they have a more desire and hunger for God's word.
It is that hunger for God's word that will make reading the Old Testament for the first time a more inspirational new discovery of truth and faith that will bring a greater excitement to understanding God's word.

From the New Testament there are 2 verses, 20 Chapters and 21 books that every new believer needs to read before they begin their new spiritual walk with Christ through God's word.
Excluding the Book of Revelation, for now.
The new believer is not ready for the book of Revelation.
Although like Genesis the first 5 chapters of Revelation is recommended but no further until the New Believer has a full understanding of God's word.

After reading these 2 verses, 20 chapters and 21 books first in a quicker time frame. The New Believer will have a broader understanding of God's word when they do start at the very beginning and read God's word from beginning to end, from Genesis to Revelation.

These 2 verses, 20 chapters and 21 books are the PREFACE for the New Believer to reading and understanding God's word in their new walk with Christ.

You might call it THE QUICK START.
Whereas reading the entire Bible from start to finish can take some people weeks to months and sometimes even years to finish reading. With these first 21 books the reader can read them within days and begin with a greater understanding of God's word.
The more you read God's word the deeper you will go into spiritual growth from an endless well of spiritual truth.

The first verse every New Believer should read is the verse that the entire Bible rests on Revelation 1:18
"I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death".

That one verse is the hope of every believer that Jesus lives and holds the keys to hell and death.

From that one verse the New Reader now wants to know more about this man who was dead and is now alive and holds the keys to death and hell.

The next verse for the New Believer is John 3:16.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perrish but have everlasting life.
That is the promise of God.
Memorize it.

Not only is Jesus alive and hold the keys to death and hell but God promised that whosoever believes in Jesus His son will have eternal life.

That's it. The hope of every believer.

After reading Genesis 1-4 the next 3 chapters the new reader must read is Matthew 5-7.
From Jesus own words through His own lips what is required of those who choose to accept Christ and follow His commandments.
The sermon on the mount in the words of Jesus is the believers guide and should be memorized by every Christian.
Why would you not want to know from memory, word for word the preserved words of Jesus.

The Next 5 chapters are the death burial and resurrection of our Lord and savior Jesus in Matthew 24-28
Our hope for salvation and eternal life is by the blood sacrifice of Jesus and His forgiveness for our sins. Why Jesus went to the cross. Because He loves us.

Next I Corinthians 15, Christ our hope and the call to ministry for every Christian.

Next I Corinthians 13, the love chapter.

Next Hebrews 11, the Faith chapter.

Next Revelation 1-5, Christ letter to the church, the throne of God and Christ the lamb worthy to open the book of life.

Next are 4 epistles of Paul beginning with Ephesians.
Why Ephesians first?
Because Ephesians explains why the New Believer has made the decision to accept Christ.
For by grace are you saved by faith. It is a gift of God. That is the theme of Ephesians.
Then the book of Galatians to understand the gifts of the spirit and the walk with Christ.
The book of Philippians and Colossians sums it all up to strengthen the new believers faith and understanding.
After a New Believer has a deep understanding of their new found faith in Christ from reading the Scripture in that order next is I John to understand what is required by love.
These first 5 books can be read in just a couple of days.

Then comes Matthew, the Gospel of John, Luke and Mark in that order. Followed by Acts and Romans.
Then read I Peter, II Peter, I Timothy, II Timothy, I Thessalonians, II Thessalonians, I Corinthians, II Corinthians, James and Hebrews.
After Hebrews the New Believer should then go back and read the entire New Testament from Matthew to Revelation again, all 27 books in the chronological order that is in the Bible.

After reading the New Testament in its entirety from beginning to end the New Believer can then start reading their Bible from the very beginning starting with Genesis chapter 1 and reading the entire Bible all the way through to Revelation 22 in Biblical chronological order.

If you are the one who led the New Believer to Christ you should read the first chapters and books together to encourage and spark the New Believers interest to reading the word of God.

These are the books of the Bible IN SPIRITUAL ORDER for New Believers to begin reading the Bible to understand their new walk with Christ which will grab the believers attention and keep them focused.

IN THAT ORDER.

Then read the New Testament again in chronological order starting with Matthew and ending with the book of Revelation.

The purpose of starting a New Believer in reading the Bible with the 21 books of the Bible I listed in that order is the very essence of what the New Believer has committed their life to as a new, New Testament believer.

Why did I begin with the book of Ephesians?
For a new Christian, what other book in the New Testament other then Galatians instructs a new Christian in their new walk with Christ.
Ephesians and Galatians is like the Christians owners manual.
That's why Ephesians first then Galatians.
The book of Philippians, Colossians and I John is the follow up.
Then the four Gospels beginning with the book of Matthew to learn about Jesus and know who He was and what He said.
Then the Gospel of John to understand the love of Christ and why He came to die for the sins of the world.
The book of Luke to know the deity of Christ and Mark to understand the service of Christ.

Then read the book of Genesis and the book of Exodus.
STOP THERE.
Go no further in the Old Testament.

After reading the book of Exodus Now re-read the entire 27 books of the New Testament again in the their biblical chronological order beginning with Matthew and ending with the book of Revelation.

After the New Believer has read the New Testament at least two or even three times, the New believer is now ready to understand the Old Testament and find the roots of their belief.

Begin with Genesis and read the entire Old Testament from beginning to end, from Genesis to Malachi and then continue onto read the New Testament.

After a New Believer understands their faith they can then begin to read the Bible in its entirety from the very beginning starting with the book of Genesis and read all the way through the Old Testament to the Book of Malachi with a GREATER and DEEPER UNDERSTANDING of what they are reading.
When the New Believer comes to the book of Psalms and Proverbs they will be overjoyed with wonder and amazement.

The epistles of Paul are short and you can read them in just a matter of minutes.

The list of 21 can be read in a matter of days where as if a New Believer began reading in Genesis it would be months before they got to even the book of Matthew.
The Old Testament is the foundation of the New Testament but we are New Testament believers and the New Testament is our Covenant with God.

II Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Isaiah 55:9, For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
